The slaveholder named Giorgio Spinola, who was once an enslaved person himself, ratifies the manumission of an enslaved Circassian slave woman named Lucia and cancels her obligation of third party service. It is assumed that Lucia would continue to serve in the household of Simone as a free person and as such that Giorgio would not be entitled to her salary.
