- has description
- The slaveholder named Benedetto Ittaliano sells an enslaved Albanian woman named Melica, who is approximately 19 years old, to a widow named Caterina Pallavicini for 185 Genoese lire. The contract contains a clause that states that should Melica be declared as Christian, and thus not able to be sold as property, then Benedetto is required to return the payment amount to Caterina. The contract also mentions that the enslaved Melica is the same person sold to Benedetto by a certain Enrico de Podio in a contract enacted on 23 December 1455 by the same notary.
