- The slaveholder and corsair named Battista Aicardo, from the commune of Portomaurizio, sells an enslaved Russian woman named Catalina, who is approximately 35 years of age, along with her daughter Melica, who is approximately 5 years of age, to a silk dyer named Battista de Monteacuto for 135 Genoese lire. The payment is made in a combination of real coinage and money of account, although the contract does not specify the amounts of these.
