- The slaveholder and wool merchant from Montefegatesi named Antonio Iocho sells an enslaved Russian woman named Maddalena, who is approximately 20 years of age, to a certain Gaspare Gentile. for 120 Genoese lire. The contract contains the condition that the enslaved Maddalena is not to be held in the city of Genoa, and if she is found in Genoa, that she will revert to the property of Antonio. However, if Maddalena should be freed by Gaspare, she would be allowed to reside in Genoa.
