- has description
- The slaveholder and wool merchant named Antonio de Turrilia sells an enslaved Tatar woman named Margarita, who is approximately 40 years of age, to a certain Bartolomeo Viacava, for 76 lire and 5 soldi of Genoese currency. The contract mentions that Ginevra Carpenino, the wife of Antonio de Turrilia, will be giving birth in about one month, and that the enslaved Margarita must be handed over to Antonio at that point in a healthy state. It appears from this language that Margarita is intended to serve as a wet nurse for the child of Antonio and Ginevra.
