- The slaveholder from Naples named Antonio Copula sells an enslaved Turkish man named Elia, who is approximately 22 years of age, to a certain Antonio de Sale, for 30 Genoese ducats. The contract notes that the seller makes no claims regarding the health of the enslaved Elia. The seller Antonio is represented in the sale by Bernardo de Gaudencio, the scribe on the vessel of Ferdinand I of Naples which was currently in the port of Genoa. The contract was extracted.
