- The slaveholder and merchant named Juan Ferrandes de Ermendua, from the commune of Bermeo in the region of Biscay, sells an enslaved woman named Elena, who is approximately 26 years of age, to a Genoese merchant and citizen named Niccolò de Ancona for 130 Genoese lire. Juan had purchased the enslaved Elena earlier in the same year from the merchant Galeotto Centurione and had recorded the transaction in a private account book.
