- has description
- The slaveholder named Giacomo de Plebe leases out an enslaved Abkhazan woman named Caterina, who is approximately 25 years of age, to a merchant named Bartolomeo de Franchi, for a term of 6 years and total payment of 60 Genoese lire. The contract notes that the enslaved Caterina has her own clothing which is being held by a notary named Christoforo de Rapallo. Giacomo mandates the manumission of the enslaved Catarina after the term of the contract. The contract specifically notes that Caterina may be subleased during the term of the contract, but only if Giacomo is given the option to first take her back, and if not, that the proportional amount for the remaining time Catarina would have served is remitted to Giacomo.
