- The slaveholder and ropemaker named Giacomo de Arquata leases out an enslaved Asian woman named Caterina, who is approximately 34 years of age, to a merchant named Antonio de Franchi for the purpose of wet-nursing, for a term of three years and total payment of 60 Genoese lire. In the case that the enslaved Caterina is not able to serve as a wet nurse, then the payment is reduced to 10 lire per year.
