The slaveholder named Selvagia Doria manumits an enslaved Circassian woman named Maria, who is approximately 35 years of age. Selvagia is represented in the transaction by Antonio de Argiroffo, who acts as her procurator. Maria agrees to serve in the household of Rainaldo Gentile for a term of 12 years as a condition of the manumission. This twelve year period of service had already began with the lease of the enslaved Maria to Rainaldo in a contract enacted on 6 May 1468. Selvagia retains the right of patronage. The contract was extracted.
