- has description
- The slaveholders and brothers named Damiano and Giovanni Spinola manumit an enslaved Russian woman named Anna, who is approximately 30 years of age. The enslaved Anna had previously been leased to a certain Branchaleone Grillo, who subequently sub-leased her to a certain Tommasina Doria, with her original term of service ending on 1 October 1460. Tommasina agrees to forgive the final two years of Anna’s service so that she only owes service until 1 October 1458. The contract also has an option for Anna to redeem any or all of her remaining service to Tommasina at a cost of 10 Genoese lire per year. Damiano and Giovanni retain the right of patronage.
