The nuns of the monastery of Santi Giacomo e Filippo collectively manumit an enslaved Tatar woman named Margarita who had been married three years previously to the formerly enslaved Tatar man named Giovanni. The enslaved Margarita had been sold to the monastery on 15 July 1378 under the condition that she could only leave the monastery in case of war or if she gets married. The nuns confirm that the marriage is validly contracted and consummated, allowing her to leave the monastery.
