- has description
- The slaveholders and widow named Ursola, along with Francesco Gerardi, manumit an enslaved Tunisian man named Ali, who is approximately 25 years of age, who is described as having an olive complexion. Ali is a baptized Muslim who has taken the Christian name Giovanni Battista and whose manumission had been mandated by the testament of the deceased spouse of Ursola, the potter named Sano di Giovanni Borghesi. The formerly enslaved Ali later requested an authenticated copy because the original had been worn and damaged.
