Giacomo was an enslaved Ruthenian man who was active in the eastern Mediterranean during the first half of the fifteenth century where worked as a servant for Branca Spinola and his spouse Pomellina Adorno. He was manumitted in Chios by Pomellina during the autumn of 1456 after entering into a four-year service agreement with Luca Pinelli.
