The contract notes that Margarita had been held by Bartolomeo for approximately 10 years, having being purchased from the slaveholder Giovanni Latinuccio, and that Vittorio was the son of the Bartolomeo. Bartolomeo renounces the right of patronage.
The resident of El Kala named Simone Petri, who was from the comune of Calvi in Corsica, acknowledges a debt of 389 lire 5 soldi and 11 denari of Genoese currency to Clemente Cicero and his partners, the holders of the coral monopoly of El Kala. The debt represents the balance due after settlement with the governor of the coral fishery named Battista de Ancisa.
