The slaveholder named Bianca Adorno sells an enslaved Circassian woman named Lucia, who is approximately 30 years of age, to a certain Antonio de Caito for 165 Genoese lire.
The slaveholder and commercial broker named Giacomo de Bargalio pledges the title for an enslaved Circassian woman named Margarita, who is approximately 33 years of age, as collateral for 150 Genoese lire which he owes to a certain Simone Ferro.
The slaveholder named Girolamo Doria manumits an enslaved Circassian woman named Maddalena, who is approximately 38 years of age. The enslaved Maddalena agrees to serve in the household of Baldassare Cattaneo for a term of nine years as a condition of the manumission. The contract also specifies that the formerly enslaved Maddalena cannot alienate any of her assets, apart from 20 lire for her funeral and burial, as part of the right of patronage retained by Girolamo.
The slaveholder and notary named Gottardo Stella sells an enslaved Russian woman named Anna, who is approximately 25 years old, to a man from Ibiza named Jorge Veglio, for 137 lire and 10 soldi of Genoese currency. The contract states that the enslaved Anna may not be held within the city of Genoa after the sale.
The slaveholder named Girolamo de Camulio, who is also the bishop of Chios, manumits an enslaved Musltim woman named Linor, who is approximately 19 years of age and described as coming from Seville. She had been purchased from the Genoese merchant Giovanni Antonio Cavatia in August 1485 (the previous summer) in a transaction recorded in Giovanni's private account book. The contract also specifies that Linor must remain in the city of Genoa for the next three years. An exception to the restriction of movement is made in the case that the bishop of Accia (one Bartolomeo Pammoleo) requests her, then she may relocate freely.
The slaveholder named Limbania de Guisulfis sells an enslaved woman named Marta, who is approximately 34 years of age, to a man from Pavia named Gregorio de Bozzolo, for 125 Genoese lire paid in income from shares of the Casa di San Giorgio. The seller waives any guarantee regarding the health of the enslaved Marta. Gregorio is represented in the contract by a certain Damino Avondo and the enacting notary Andrea de Cairo. The contract also notes that the sale is made by Limbania with the intercession of Giacomo Imperiale, the archbishop of Genoa, and a certain Giovanni de Cruxilia, who acts as guarantors for Limbania.
