Battista returns to Bernardo a measure of fustian cloth valued at 11 Genoese lire that he had provided as a partial payment for the lease.

  The slaveholder and oar-maker named Bartolomeo de Vulturo leases out an enslaved Circassian woman named Maddalena, who is approximately 20 years of age, to a certain Giuliano Torre, for a term of 3 years and total payment of 55 Genoese lire. The amount is to be paid by a certain Pietro de Iugo. The enslaved Maddalena is leased for the purpose of wet-nursing since the agreement stipulates that she may be returned if she is not able to produce milk for this purpose. The contract also places restrictions on her movement, stating that must remain within Genoa, the Bisagno Valley, the Polcevera Valley, and the commune of Voltri for the duration of the lease.

  The heirs of the cutler Lorenzo Spotorno lease out an enslaved Circassian woman named Luna to the Ospedale di San Bernardo de Scario, which is represented in the transaction by the cutler Bertone de Lavania, for a term of 12 years and total payment of 80 Genoese lire.

  This contract is an agreement between Ottobone Imperiale and Nicolosia Ittaliano for the lease of an enslaved woman named Lucia, who is approximately 30 years of age. Ottobone leases the enslaved Lucia to Nicolosia for an open term and in return she provides Ottobone with shares of the Casa di San Giorgio valued at 100 Genoese lire, from which Ottobone can draw income during the period of the lease. At the termination of the lease the shares must be returned to Nicolosia. The contract also notes that Nicolosia promises to pay the annual possession tax on enslaved persons for the term of the lease.

  The slaveholder named Pietro Facorino leases out an enslaved woman named Anna, who is approximately 24 years of age, to the grammar teacher named Tommaso de Roma, for a term of 3 years and 1 month and a total cost of 60 Genoese lire. She is leased for the purpose of wet nursing (pro alumna). The contract notes that the enslaved Anna had formerly been held by the nobleman named Antonio Camilla who is now deceased. It also states that Tommaso is forbidden to live with Anna in the neighbourhood (contrada) of Scuterie or the neighbourhoods of the Camilla or Lercari families, and that if Pietro discovers Anna living in any of those places, then he can freely take her from Tommaso. Finally, the contract staters that Tommaso agrees to return the enslaved Anna in good health and without any illness.
