The contract notes that the enslaved Agnese had initially been leased by Lazzaro de Feliziano to Agostino de Ripalta for a term of ten years, and then subsequently subleased by Agostino to Bernardo for a term of approximately nine years. The current contract shortens the initial ten year period by approximately 5 years after which Agnese is mandated for manumission. Franco makes the 40 lire payment with the understanding he Franco must use the money to invest in part of a single share (locum) of San Giorgio to be registered in the name of Agnese. The contract notes that the term of service had begun on 15 September 1452. The principals in the contract waive all guarantees and claims related to the health of the enslaved Maria. Maria is to be manumitted at the end of the lease with Illario retaining the right of patronage. The contract was extracted.

  The slaveholder named Giacomo Maruffo leases out an enslaved woman named Anastasia, who is approximately 28 years of age, to a nobleman named Giovanni Battista Centurione, for a term of 3 years and a total cost of 50 Genoese lire, to serve as a wet-nurse for the children of Battista. The enslaved Anastasia was named as the sister of Giacomo Maruffo, which suggests that she may have been the child of Marcellino Maruffo and an enslaved woman. The contract also states that should the enslaved Anastasia become pregnant during the term of the contract, then she can be returned to the household of Giacomo and Giovanni Battista would recieive back his 50 lire.   The slaveholder named Antonio Usodimare leases out an enslaved Circassian woman named Lucia, who is approximately 21 years of age, to a certain Gil Rois, a merchant from Catalonia, for a term of 3 years at a total cost of 30 Genoese lire. An earlier contract enacted in Caffa by the notary Gabriele Botario on 15 July 1455 notes that the enslaved Lucia had promised to serve in the household of Antonio for five years after which she would have been freed, and the contract notes that there remains four years, two months, and four days remaining on that term. This is essentially a sub-lease of the term of service of the formerly enslaved Lucia. The contract also states that Lucia may not leave the city of Genoa during the three-year term and after the end of this term she will be manumitted. The contract was extracted.

The payment is received in income from shares in Casa di San Giorgio for the year 1456.

The transactors waive all guarantees and claims related to the health of the enslaved Maddalena. Maria mandates that Maddalena is manumitted at the end of the term of lease and she retains the right of patronage after the manumission. Federico is absent during the transaction and is represented by the enacting notary Bartolomeo Riccio. The contract was extracted.

The salary is paid by both Valerano and Accellino. The contract takes the form and title of the contract for the lease of enslaved persons, illustrating the close links between the two forms.
