  The slaveholder named Girolamo de Camulio, who is also the bishop of Chios, leases out an enslaved Albanian woman named Anna, who is approximately 24 years of age, to a pelter named Bernardo Celesia, for a term of 4 years and total payment of 30 Genoese lire. The enslaved Anna is to be manumitted at the end of the term of service. The enslaved Anna was being held by Teodora de Camulio, the sister of Girolamo, and she transferred custody over Anna to Girolamo before the lease was enacted. Girolamo retains the right of patronage which he cedes to his sister Teodora.

  The slaveholder named Giovanni de Fo sub-leases an enslaved Ruthenian woman named Maddalena, who is approximately 45 years of age, from a slaveholder named Tommaso de Bessignano, for a term of 3 years and total payment of 32 Genoese lire.

  The slaveholder named Isabella, widow of Raffaele di Negro, promised to lease out an enslaved Tatar woman named Margarita, who is 22 years of age, to the notary named Tommaso Naste, for a term of 2 years and total payment of 24 Genoese lire. The form of the contract is based on that of a typical “service agreement” contract; in addition, it was agreed that Thomas could sublet the enslaved Margarita if she was unable to continue as a wet nurse for his family during the two years. At the beginning of the contract, the word famula has been deleted and replaced by alumpna.

  The slaveholder named Giacomo Celesia leases out an enslaved Tatar woman named Clara, who is approximately 36 years of age, to a cutler named Pietro Garrone, for a term of 2 years and a total payment of 29 Genoese lire. The contract notes that the term of service had started on 20 April 1420.

  The slaveholder named Bartolomeo de Podio leases out an enslaved woman named Maddalena to a merchant from Pisa named Lorenzo Griffo, for a term of 2 years. The lease occurs through a commercial broker named Guglielmo Assereto who serves as the commercial agent for Bartolomeo, who is absent because he is being held in debtor's prison. Guglielmo kept the enslaved Maddalena in his house for 15 days, and possibly longer, during which time he made her available to potential holders. The contract mentions that she is to serve Lorenzo as a household servant and a concubine, and strongly suggests that she was forced to submit herself sexually to prospective holders during the fifteen day period. The contract also mentioned that the enslaved Maddalena was commissioned by Bartolomeo to Guglielmo in 1418.

  The slaveholder and merchant named Percivale Ardissone leases out a formerly enslaved woman from Cyprus named Agnese to a cloth merchant named Guglielmo Assereto, for a term of 10 years and total payment of 75 Genoese lire. The enslaved Agnese had already been manumitted subject to a service obligation of thirteen years to Percivale. The term of conditional manumission continues for the remaining ten years of service to Guglielmo.

  The slaveholder named Battista Cibo leases out an enslaved Ruthenian woman named Elena, who is approximately 34 years of age, to the merchant named Ansaldo Giustiniani, for a term of 7 years at a total price of 70 Genoese lire. Battista also mandates the manumission of Elena at the end of the term. The contract notes that the term of service had started on 1 February 1469.

  The slaveholder and merchant named Agostino Lazania leases out an enslaved Circassian woman named Maria, who is approximately 29 years of age, to a widow named Andreola Spinola, for a term of 7 years at a total cost of 70 Genoese lire. The contract stipulates that 10 lire from the 70 lire payment is marked for clothing for the enslaved Maria. The enslaved Maria will be manumitted for manumission once Maria provides Agostino the cost for extracting the notarial contract which has been written by the notary Matteo Riccio.

  The slaveholder and merchant named Antonio de Franchi leases out an enslaved Circassian man named Valentino, who is approximately 25 years of age, to a merchant named Genesio de Guizo, for a term of 3 years at a total price of 62 lire and 10 soldi of Genoese currency. The lease period is to begin on 1 March 1469.

  The slaveholder named Accellino Vivaldi leases out an enslaved Tatar woman named Melica, who is approximately 34 years of age, to a certain Maria Doria, for a term of 2 years and total payment in the income from 4 shares of the Casa di San Giorgio during the two years of the lease. Maria is represented in the contract by her son Selvagio Vivaldi who serves as her procurator.

The contract obligates Margarita to serve as a wet nurse for the wife of Cosmo, who is currently pregnant. The contract also states that if the enslaved Margarita, who is also pregnant, dies in childbirth then the 50 lire will be returned to Cosmo.

  The slaveholder named Battista Cibo leases out the labour of a formerly enslaved Hungarian woman named Elena, who is approximately 40 years of age, to the nobleman named Leonardo di Negro, for a term of three years and total payment of 37 lire and 10 soldi of Genoese currency. The contract indicates that Elena had been formerly held by a certain Benedetto Salvago and had recently been declared free as a result of an appeal to the Sindactores. The contract was made with the consent of Elena who was absent at the enactment and represented by the enacting notary Tommaso Duracino.

  The slaveholder named Antonietta Robello, from the commune of Varazze, and wife of Luca Bertolino, lease out an enslaved Circassian woman named Lucia, who is approximately 38 years of age, to a certain Girolamo Calvo, for a term of 13 years and total payment of 3 shares (loca) of the Casa di San Giorgio. Antonia was represented in the transaction by Egidio Sacherio, who serves as her procurator by the power of a contract enaced in Varazze by the notary Teramo Sacherio. The contract was extracted.

This is a sublease from an the contract enacted on 16 February 1472 where Giovanni Delfino had received the enslaved Maria from Georgio de Marini.

Pietro is represented in the contract by his brothers Bartolomeo and Pietro Giovanni de Orabonis.

  The slaveholder named Giovanni de Stanchino, from the commune of Moneglia, leases out an enslaved Hungarian woman named Melica, who is approximately 30 years of age, to a certain Pietro Ambrogio Carrega, for a term of 15 years and a total payment of 125 Genoese lire. She is to be liberated at the end of the term. The contract represents the ratification of the transfer of Melica by Filippo Cassana, serving as the procurator of Giovanni, to Pietro Ambrogio, a few months earlier on 1 December 1473. The contract also specifies that Melica cannot be subleased to the heirs of Battista de Franchi nor a certain Filippo de Caneto.
