Lazzaro is represented in the contract by his brother Antonio de Villanova who serves as his procurator by the power of a contract enacted in Savona by the notary Bartolomeo de Zocco. The contract suggests that this is a sub-lease of the enslaved Marta who had orignally been leased to Lazzaro by Antonio Lomellini. The starting date of the lease was the 21st of February 1458.

The contract mentions that remuneration would be based on an earlier agreements between the two principal contractors. The contract also specifies that Caterina will be leased with her own clothes, money, and other goods. Furthermore, the contract states that Caterina cannot be subleased during the contract without the express permission of Girolamo under the penalty of 40 Genoese Florins.

Michele agrees to provide the enslaved Maddalena with shoes and clothing.

  The slaveholder named Taddeo de Marini confesses to receiving the sum of 100 Genoese lire from a certain Lodisio Cattaneo. For this sum he cedes the rights over an enslaved Circassian woman named Maddalena, who is approximately 29 years of age, to a certain Lodisio de Castiliono. Maddalena had been leased to Taddeo by the cheesemaker Michele de Turrilia in December of 1462 for a term of one year and this transaction reflects a form of sub-lease.

  The slaveholder named Niccolò Barbaro, a merchant from Venice, leases out an enslaved Circassian woman named Scaramuccia, who is approximately 24 years of age, to the Genoese merchants Pellegro and Francesco de Gradis, for a term of 2½ years and a total price of 17½ Genoese ducats. Niccolò is represented in the contract by his brother Giovanni who serves as his procurator and who presents a notarial contract enacted in Venice as proof. This contract is a sub-lease. The enslaved Scaramuccia had previously been leased to Niccolò and Giovanni Barbaro by the Milanese merchant named Venturino Borromeo on 22 November 1463.

  The slaveholder named Isolta de Franchi leases out an enslaved Circassian woman named Elena, who is approximately 25 years of age, to a merchant named Marco Giustiniani, for a term of seventeen years and total payment of 170 Genoese lire. The enslaved Elena is to be manumitted at the end of the term of service. The principals waive all claims and guarantees regarding the health of Elena and the contract notes that she was exchanged about one year before this enactment. Isolta retains the right of patronage after the manumission. The contract also lists the following places where Marco agrees to uphold the conditions specified in the contract: Genoa, Savona, Lombardy, Milan, Nice, Pisa, Albenga, Florence, Venice, Rhodes, Chios, Pera, and Caffa. This indicates that Marco was likely an itinerant merchant who intended to bring Elena with him during his travels and that the principals wanted to ensure that the contract would remain in force across the Mediterranean.
